Getting Dressed!

Sometimes in the mornings, I bring Colton's outfit into the Bonus Room to get him dressed.  The last few weeks, he has started to try to dress himself...especially with trying to put on his pants!  He is a pretty determined little guy, but doesn't mind when I come over to help him :)

He was "lovin on" his pants...ha!

Trying to get those feet in the pant legs is hard when the pants are still buttoned!

Getting closer!  I think he is ready for me to start teaching him how to get dressed :)

Telling me the letters on his shirt.

Teddy's Wedding!

We had a GREAT time at Matt Tedford and Colleen Girten's wedding last weekend!  Here are some pics of the fun event!

The happy couple dancing their first dance together!

We always enjoy time to spend with The Tutens (Jessica looks great...she is almost 8 months along!)

Jake and Clay made their entrance as "The Wolfpack!"

Colleen's whole family did a "flash mob" dance to Michael Jackson hits...awesome!

The BEST part of the night was when they had a "groomsmen dance off," but only Jake was in the competition (everyone else took off their blindfolds).  The wonderful video footage is on my FB page if you haven't seen it already!

We enjoyed some quality time together as well :)

Josh with the groom.  Congrats to Matt and Colleen!

Joseph turns 11!!!

Our youngest Moldovan neighbor turned 11 this week!  We decided to take him to Wasabi for a fun and yummy lunch!  We also thought Colton would love it as well.  The best part of the day was after we left.  We asked Joseph to rank Wasabi on a scale of 1-10, and he ranked it a "6 or 7."  So then, I asked him, what would be a 10...his response was "Golden Corral!"

This was Joseph's first time going to any type of restaurant like Wasabi.

Here are the four of us (a little blury)

"Hot Hot Hot!" according to Colton!

He was a little scared of our chef and all of his cooking antics..,HA!  But, Joseph thougtht it was cool.

Joseph got two tries to catch the food in his mouth...both unsucessful :(

This is why we LOVE Joseph...he is soooo sweet with Colton, and Colton ADORES him...HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSEPH!!!

Birthday Party!

We had a great time at Colt and Savannah's 3rd birthday party at the Emerald Youth Foundation on Sunday!  I believe Colton could LIVE in the gym and be the happiest boy alive :)

From the moment we walked into the gym, he didn't want to leave...even for a cupcake!

Colton with the birthday boy!

He has a ways to go before he can dunk...ha!

This was his face for the entire party ;)

He was introduced to a hulla-hoop, which was a big hit!  We would roll it really hard and he would chase it!

Trying his best to keep up with the big boys!

We stopped to get a yummy Cookies and Cream Milkshake on the way home :)

22 Months!

I really can't believe I am saying that Colton will be 2 in two short months!!!  He is growing and learning so much these days!  He continues to love anything that has to do with sports and Mickey Mouse.  He now enjoys puzzles, blowing bubbles, riding his big wheel, playdates, bounce houses, reading books, trains, and puppets!  New things he has learned recently are his shapes (circle, square, triangle, rectangle, oval, diamond, and sometimes pentagon) and his numbers through 13!  He is quite the showoff sometimes, and loves when people think he is funny :)  (Who does that remind you of? ha)  He is so much fun, and I LOVE being his Mommy :)

Pizza & Games!

We were invited Saturday night, along with the Nicoara's, to Greg and Tonya's for some pizza and games!  That afternoon, we told Colton we were going to their house for pizza, and he ran to the door and yelled out "Pizza with Turner!"  Needless to say, Colton loves their two boys Parker (7) and Turner (3)!

Colton emjoyed eating at "The Big Boys" table!

Colton getting ready to dunk...with a little help from Greg :)

Parker is the sweetest first grader I know!!!

Ryder getting in on the action!

Colton followed Turner around all evening...they ran out of Turner's room acting like they were firemen!

Josh was showing Parker, Greg, & Bruce a card trick...the confused faces were because the trick took 3 tries to work :)

It is always so encouraging to spend time with fellow Christians!  Greg and Tonya are special friends and mentors to us.  Thank you for such a fun evening!

Laughter is the best medicine...

Little Colton has been out of comission for almost two weeks.  A week and a half ago, Dr. Feld said Colton had a double eye infection, double ear infection, and strep throat.  We went back this week, and one ear was still infected along with a yucky cough and red throat.  We go back again next week to find out if we have to back to his ENT  for the possibility of removing his adenoids.  Needless to say, we haven't been out of the house too much.  You would think that with all of that going on in his little body, he would be fussy and clingy, but he mostly acts normal!  He just looks really tired and has a permanent runny nose.

I'm not a huge fan of the shirts with the little sayings, but this one is pretty cool :)  Here's another "sick" face!

Lots of juice these days...with all the antibiotics, his tummy is a little crazy, so we are staying extra hydrated :)

Throw Joseph in the mix, and it's all smiles and laughs!

He is fake sneezing, and thinks it is hilarious!

Love the smiles, especially when he is sick ;)

Let's hope he feels better real soon!!!
