Oakes Farm Pumpkin Patch!

We had a family outting to Oakes Farm the other evening!  This year was so much different with Colton than it was last year.  Last year, I was trying to use pumpkins to "prop" Colton upright.  I took for granted how easy it was to snap pictures of him since he wasn't mobile. This year, he was ALL OVER THE PLACE!

They had great picture backgrounds everywhere!  I just LOVE Fall!

Colton kept calling the pumpkins "basketballs!"  It was fun dressing him up for the event...I got his little cowboy boots at a consignment sale :-)

Lovin' Josh's boots...it was a bit muddy out there!

I like this idea of seeing how much Colton grows from this year to next!  This was a real challenge getting him to stay still for a quick picture!

The slides were awesome and very FAST!

The look on Colton's face his pretty priceless...Josh and I probably didn't use the best parenting skills when we decided he could go down on his own...

 Maybe next year!

Colton's favorite animal noise to make..."Neighhhhhhhhh"

His first time in a Moonbounce!

This was probably his favorite thing...a ball attached to a string to hit over and over and over again!

Another fun spot for the little ones.

Last, but not least, it was time for the hayride over to the pumpkin patch!  You can see a little bit of our treat left on Colton's face...fried oreos!

We can't wait 'til next year!!!

Vols Date Night!

Gran T was in town, and she loved keeping Colton while Josh and I enjoyed a fun day/night going to the VOLS/BAMA game!
I really LOVE Smokey, and would love to get a puppy like him one day :-)

Nothing is better than going to a UT football game in the Fall!  If only we were better...

Josh and I renamed the torchbearer "Michael"...hehe.  That is where Josh told me that he loved me for the first time...AWWW!

 Close up of our coach!

One of my favorite pre-game traditions...THE VOL WALK!

The newly renovated stadium is awesome!

We met up with the Tuten's for a little pre-game meal!  Notice all of the different shades of orange...including Boycie's belt...ha!

 The girls!

Sweet Dally and Mrs. Katie are so much fun to be around!  If only they lived a little closer...

Pity and I getting ready to go in the game!

Wish coach could've pumped our guys up a little more...oh well.

The "POWER T" never gets old!  Josh and I enjoyed a great day together, eating with friends, and watching a great rivalry!  The perfect ending would have been a UT victory!  Maybe next time :-)

Lovin' a new toy!

It's amazing how zoned in Colton will get whenever we open up a new toy.  This is his face when Josh was about to "opa" (open) this new toy...so focused...HA!

He watched in awe as Josh would make the "cho cho" go around in circles.  He got the hang of it pretty fast!

He could do it on his own and LOVED it!

This one is a little on the blury side, but I just love that smile :-)

Hilton Head with The Eddy's!

We LOVE Hilton Head, and we especially love going there with sweet friends like Leslie and Ben Eddy!  We enjoyed everything from playing on the beach, staying up late watching movies & just talking, riding our bikes, taking pictures of our boys, and eating out!

Colton and Benny became quick friends!

Evertime Leslie and I hang out, it is like we never were apart!  It is so fun and very special to share the gift of motherhood with her!

 The Eddy fam!

We were happy to include Miss Ily in our family pics!

Little Benny's helmet looks good here, but everytime Ben would pedal, his helmet would fall in front of his face...he didn't seem to mind though :-)

Riding bikes in Palmetto Dunes were we stayed was beautiful!

It is so hard to get a good pic of these two rascals!  This one work out because I had a treat for Ily and Josh had a ball for Colton :-)

We were able to fit in some golf, of  course Josh was thrilled!  Colton really had fun "playing" his first round of golf.  He loved getting the ball out of the putting cup, "driving" the cart, and trying to hit the ball with the club!

He didn't want to let go of the club!

We were trying to take pics on the beach and there happened to be a stray volleyball.  Colton LOVED kicking it around, but it was low tide and here is the result...one muddy, but happy boy :-)

 We LOVE vacation!

'Til next summer...

Play dates and More Molars!

On Wednesday after BSF, Colton's birthday buddy Josiah and his wonderful mommy came over for lunch and to play!  It seems so hard at this age to get their picture taken together.  So, here they are playing together, but no pictures together...maybe next time!

Our sweet little man is hanging out on the couch watching Baby Einstein...normally he is running around and playing when his "mia" (movie) is on.  Today was a different story, since more molars are coming in :-(

We LOVE our Maldovans!!!

We have the BEST and most INTERSTING neighbors that live one house up from us!  They are the sweetest family from a small country called Maldova (next to Russia).  They are at our house ALL THE TIME, but we LOVE them!  The neat thing now,  is that they are wonderful babysitters, and Colton LOVES them so much!  Here is Colton with each one of the five kiddos:

Here is Marcica (pronouced Marchika).  She is the oldest!

Next is Marcel (pronounced Marchel).  He just turned 16!  He put Colton in this box, and he wasn't too sure about it at first until Marcel started pulling him all over the Bonus Room :-)

Then comes Corina!  She is in 9th grade at Powell High School!  Colton was trying his best to copy her!

And here is Miss Veronica!  She is in 7th grade at Powell Middle School!  She will be a great Mom one day, but not too soon :-)

Let's not forget little Iosif (pronouced Joseph...YES I know :-)  He is in 5th grade at Copper Ridge!  He is such a sweetie and says the most funny things!

We LOVE the MALDOVANS!
