So handsome...

Ready for church :)

Bouncy Playdate!

Some moms/kiddos from our MOPs group had a fun playdate at Bounce House USA and then lunch at Chick-fil-a!  Colton had a blast of course!  I have really enjoyed getting to know so many other moms!  It is great to hear encouraging words from fellow believers about raising kids.

Grady, Colton, & Eli going down the super huge slide!

He really liked the obstacle course this time!

Benelynn emjoyed bouncing with the kids :)

Colton, Ben, Eli, & Paul....not quite playing by the rules....ha

Fun Dinner Party!

I always forget to take pictures whenever we get together with friends or go on dates...of course because they normally don't involve Colton :)  Last weekend, we enjoyed having a fun dinner with Daniel & Tiffany, Ben & Brittany, Traci & Justin, and Justin's twin Matt.  We had to add a leaf into our table to have enough room for everyone!  After Colton went to bed, we played a great game of Baulderdash and ate some yummy fruit pizza!

Colton decided to steal the show and told Brittany his joke about where the sheep gets his haircut :)

Then he proceeded to use his "microphone" and sing to everyone his favorite song..."Jesus Loves Me!"  We had a great night with great friends!

FIrst Dentist Appointment

Colton made his first trip to the dentist this morning!  We had been talking all about it all weekend so he would be ready.  They brushed his teeth with the spin brush, rinsed them, and applied a flouride treatment.  He has both of his two-year molars on the bottom and the ones on the top are getting ready to break through.  The doctor said that his teeth looked great!  Colton seemed to enjoy his first visit...especially his goody bag!

He was such a big boy while they cleaned his teeth.

Showing me his new toy he got from the dentist :)

Showing me his clean teeth!

Look Mommy!

I heard Colton calling me from the bonus room the other day...I walked in to see him sitting in Josh's desk chair, trying to type away just like Daddy!  :)

Sweet Face

I love this face...

Great Grandmother

On our way back home from Atlanta, we stopped to visit Josh's Grandmother who will be 95 in June!  She is doing great, and we really loved spending time with her!  Josh's Uncle John also came by to see us.

New Year's in Atlanta

Josh, Colton, and I went to Atlanta for New Years.  We stayed for two nights and had a great time shopping, eating out, and meeting up with my brother.  UVA and Auburn were playing in the Chick-fil-a bowl, so we met with Donald and Lisa at their tailgate :)

Colton and Josh were ringing in the new year by having a wrestling match with Tigger in our hotel room :)

DC Cousins

My brother's family came to my Mom's house after Christmas, so we were able to spend a day together!  The kiddos loved playing together and especially opening presents!

Christmas Card

I love sending out Christmas cards!  I also found it really fun going to the mailbox each day to open Christmas cards from family members and friends!  Here was our card this year...

Christmas Day

Josh and I were probably more excited Christmas morning than Colton was!  He walked in the family room and saw the stocking full of goodies and a few toys in front of his stocking.  He played with them for a while, which gave my mom, Josh, and I time to go through our stockings.  Then, we ate a yummy Christmas breakfast and opened the doors to the room where the Christmas tree was...and all the presents!  Santa left a few unwrapped gifts for Colton and again, he played with those for a while.  We opened presents, played with toys, and opened more presents for a few hours til lunch time.  It was a great Christmas morning!  Later in the day, we skyped with my brother's family and had another wonderful dinner!  How blessed we are to be able to celebrate the birth our of Savior!!!

Christmas Eve

We were excited to spend Christmas with Tee Tee!  We went to Mom's church for Christmas Eve Service at 5:00, which was the kid-friendly service.  Colton made his presence known for sure :)  After, we had an amazing Tee Tee meal!!!  Then, we got in our pjs and left Santa some cookies, milk, and a note!

Texas Cousins!

We were so happy to be able to coordinate our schedules so that we could spend an evening with our Texas Cousins!  We had dinner at Nana and Poppa's house, opened presents, and played together!

Meeting Santa!

We went to Bass Pro Shops for our anual picture with Santa.  Colton was very excited about sitting on his lap and telling him a few gifts he would love to get.  We ate at The Chop House and then enjoyed riding the reindeer (Santa's Sleigh as Colton called it) and seeing Santa's Wonderland while we waiting on our turn to see Santa.

When Santa asked Colton what he wanted for Christmas, Colton said, "A big Rex and a Ham." Santa looked to us for help with "The Ham" part.  Colton was talking about the pig character named Ham from Toy Story...haha!
