Colton is 18 months old!

I cannot believe that our little boy is now 18 months old!  Time has just gone by too fast!  I am trying to enjoy every day with him, and cherish the times he still cuddles with me after he wakes up from his naps.  I love his hearty laugh, cute dimples, sweet spirit, wet kisses, and love for sports!  He is (STILL) really into any type of ball...especially basketballs and footballs.  It has been so fun to watch him develop into a "little athlete"...ha!  He can spin the basketball in his hands and dribble it (3 times) on the kitchen floor!  He is really verbal...like his daddy!  He says around 85 words and is putting 2 and 3 words together, which is so fun.  We are looking forward to what the next 6 months will have in store for us!

Here are a few of his 18 month pics!

WOW!  What a difference one year makes!  All of these pics (both 18 month and 6 month) were taken at the same park.  He has changed so much...so cute.

Birthday Weekend in DC!

My Mom, Colton, Ily, and myself headed to DC to stay with my brother's family for Madeline's first birthday!  We really enjoyed the weekend which included two great birthday parties, yummy food, a trip to Trader Joe's, and an awesome moonbounce (Colton's favorite)!

The happy Thomas family, plus Colton!

Patrick and Colton could've spent the whole weekend in the bouncehouse!  It was so much fun for all of the kiddos!

My favorite picture of the sweet birthday girl :-)

On Friday afternoon, Patrick and Madeline's playgroup came over for a fun party!

 Maddle eating her first cupcake!

Another favorite of the weekend for Colton was Patrick's football helmet.  He seemed to have it on quite often :-)

Spiderman made an apperance too!  So cute!

Colton enjoyed the quality time with Gran T too!

Uncle Donald giving Colton "tickle treatment"....the same thing he used to do to me when we were growing up!

 Mommy and Maddle!

 Daddy and Maddle!

 The Thomas Clan!

On Saturday, Madeline had a family birthday celebration lunch and cake!

 Singing "Happy Birthday" to Madeline!

We LOVE you sweet Madeline!  We hope you had a great first birthday!  Thanks for including us in all of the fun festivities!!!

Trick-or-Treat!!!

This Halloween was one to remember!  Taking Colton trick-or-treating for real this year was awesome!  It brought back such wonderful memories of my childhood!  Also, Colton dressing up like his favorite "doggy" Ily was fun too.  He would bark at himself whenever he looked in a mirror with his costume on :-)

This family picture was taken after all of the evenings events....a certain someone was getting very tired!

Colton (aka Puppy Dog) and his best friends Ily (aka little pumpkin)!

Our Halloween evening started at one of the Community Harvest Parties our church was sponsoring.  We took the three youngest Moldovans to watch Colton some, so Josh and I could help volunteer.  All four of the kiddos here were doing the cake walk...too bad we never won :-(

Colton and Veronica did this inflatible slide over and over!  They loved it!

Two bounce houses in one week was a lot of fun...Mommy liked this one better because it wasn't muddy like the one at the farm was.

"Pin the mouth on the pumpkin" was a hit with Colton.

Colton's favorite game of the night was the "football toss!"  He was four for four!

He ate the WHOLE cupcake (that had green icing).  His mouth was tinted green for the rest of the night :-)

Next stop was in a nearby neighborhood for some trick-or-treating!  At first, Colton did not know what to do at the doorsteps, but he quickly picked it up!

He even managed to say "eek or eek" (trick-or-treat), which was my favorite part!  He also tried to go inside of a few houses, bark at people with dogs, and take two handfuls of candy if someone offered him the candy bowl :-)

Mommy will be enjoying this candy...but next year I am sure Colton will really "get it" and want his candy!
