One more party!

Our Bible Fellowship class from church had a super fun Christmas party at Daniel and Tiffany Barton's house on Thursday night.  Everyone brought festive soups, chillis, breads, and assortments of yummy desserts!  We all brought "white elephant" gifts to exchange...some were decent enough to keep and others were hilarious!  We are so thankful for everyone in our class, and especially for Greg and Tonya for leading and encouraging us each week!

About half of our class couldn't make it because we had to change the night of the party due to snow.

Josh and I enjoyed time together with everyone while our sweet neighbor girls kept Colton (and put him to bed sucessfully:-)

Aaron was the really winner of the bunch...he scored this awesome jacket...ha!

Greg was super excited about this backpack...I think because it still had tags and Parker or Turner would love it:-)

Another funny gift...notice the title, and when she opened it, all the pages were blank!

Tiffany got this super cool camo hat that has built in lights!  Thanks to Tiffany and Daniel for opening up their home for such a fun evening!

Colton meets Santa!

We went to meet "Santahhh" on Friday night at Bass Pro Shops, which is where Colton meet Santa for the first time last Christmas!  We weren't sure if he would be afraid, cry, or even refuse to sit on his lap.  But, in typical Colton fashion, he plopped right down, and looked right at him.  He was curious and a little cautious at the same time.  Everything was going great until Santa pointed his arm to the camera...Santa had bells around his wrist that made a loud jingle sound.  That sort of startled Colton, and he would flutter his eyes real fast.  When he got off his lap, he said "Bye Bye Santa!"  It is so fun being a parent during Christmas!

Getting ready to leave the house to visit Santa!

Daddy and Colton action silly in line :-)

By himself, he got down on his knees before it was his turn to walk up to see Santa...taking it all in :-)

It was a long walk up the red carpet to climb in his lap!

This is the official picture they took.
Here is his face when the bells on his wrist jingled..hehe!

 Love this one!

 "Bye Bye Santa"

When we got home, we tried to hava a mini photo session ;-)

Looking at his ornament from last year...he almost broke it when he threw it up in the air...good thing Mommy caught it.

Here is Colton's picture with the same Santa from last year :-)

Christmas Party!!!

We had a blast at the annual Christmas Party at the Upshaws!  The food was delicious, and the games were such fun!  Colton enjoyed spending some time with sweet Ava and Jackson!

Here's Boycie explaining the rules to the game "Left Right Center."  If you haven't played before, it is such fun...and a cheap game to purchase :-)

Colton was trying to help role the dice :-)

Everybody plays with $3.00.  Colton was hoping he would win!

The "Dirty Santa" gifts weren't a let down this year...haha Ryan!

I believe this is the third year that a different "Boycie" ornament has made an apperance!  Try to read the fine print at the top of the ornament!  Poor Toots!

He stayed up way past his bedtime and was so tired by the end of the evening.

Ava was so sweet...she would just sit and play with her blocks.

On the other hand, Jackson and Colton were busy bodies the whole night...wanting to go up and down the stairs!

Good 'ol Peyton!

Josh and his good buddy Ben went to see the Titans and the Colts play last Thursday night!  Josh said it was such a good environment...totally different from a UT game.  He also loved seeing Chris Johnson and Peyton Manning play in person!

Mall Suprise!

Colton and I went to West Town Mall one day last week.  As we were walking in Belk, the mall Santa was walking out.  He asked if Colton had seen Santa yet this year, which he hadn't.  So he asked me if I had a camera phone, because he would take his picture right there with Colton!  Santa just sat right down on the edge of a clothing display :-)  I got Colton out of his stroller and sat him on Santa's lap.  I wasn't sure how he was going to react to Santa this year, but he didn't seem to mind that scary beard at all.  I think part of it was because Santa had a cute little teddy bear on his other knee.  I took 2 pics, but the problem is...I don't know how to get them off my phone.  Help?  Anyways, I thought it was so sweet of Santa to just take an imprompto picture with Colton!  If I ever figure out how to get the picture off my phone, I will add it here!

Random...

Colton waking up from his nap...usually he wants his milk and some cuddle time before he is ready to play.  But not on Friday...he woke up so happy and ready to go!

He went straight into the bonus room, climbed into his chair, and started "reading' his books!

He is a book lover for sure!

TN/VA Thanksgiving!

We were thrilled to be able to spend Thanksgiving week with both of our families!  Josh's sister and family came to TN from Texas for the first part of the week, and my brother and family met us in VA for the end of the week!  Colton seemed to really enjoy spending time with his Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents!

Our annual family picture!

Papa and Colton doing some giggling....a usual thing between the two of them!

Papa and his grandkids!

We traded gifts with our Texas cousins....Colton loved all the excitement.

Uncle Josh with sweet Ava!

Many people think that Levi and Josh look a lot alike...but then they say that Colton looks like his Daddy too?

Uncle Josh loves Zach and his cute dimple!

Here is my brother and his sweet family at Gran T's house.

Gran T LOVES having her grandbabies stay at the house!

Sweet Madeline and Gran T after we ate on Turkey Day.

Aunt Shirley (Colton's great Aunt) came too!  They enjoyed watching a "mia" (movie) together.

Uncle Donald brought the famous moonbounce with him...Colton was soooooo excited to "jump jump" again...and so were the neighbor kids!

Love that face!

The three cousins together on Thanksgiving!  We made so many wonderful memories!
