Easter Weekend!

Josh, Colton, Ily, & I spent Easter weekend at my mom's house, along with my brother and his family!  We had a busy weekend...dying Easter eggs/fun birthday dinner Friday evening, Easter Egg Hunt/lunch Saturday, dinner at Gracie's Pizza/movie for Josh & I Saturday night, and church/brunch on Easter Sunday.  All of the fun pictures from the weekend are on my FB page :)

Colton was super excited (as you can tell) to hunt for Easter Eggs!

The Easter Bunny made his appearance :)

Our cousins joined us: Chris, Jackson, Julie, Tatum, Tinsley, & Caden

I'm 30!!!!!!!!!

WOW!  30 years have gone pretty fast!  I can't believe that I am 30!  I guess when you are a kid, it seems like it will take forever to be 30 years old!  Well, I am!
I had a great day...slept in late, mani/pedi, AWESOME dinner at Foothills Milling Company (thanks Ben & Britt for watching Colton), and we saw The Lincoln Lawyer movie!  Then Wednesday evening, I thought we were meeting an out of town couple at Mellow, and lots of our fun friends were there for a suprise dinner :)  I couldn't ask for a better way to start my next 30 years!  Looking forward to more celebrating in Roanoke with my family this weekend :)

Josh, Colton, and I before we left for dinner!

One more family pic.  Colton seemed to love his time with Ben and Brittany while we were gone ;)

My hubby is awesome!

The BEST meal I have had in a long time!!!!!!!!!

Fun Easter Craft!

My super crafty, full of great ideas, sister-in-law gave me a fun Easter Craft idea.  I thought it would be something fun to take to Gran T since we are going home for Easter Weekend!  I knew Colton would love helping too :)

I had one eager helper...a cute one too :)

First, we added food coloring to rice...and shook it up!

Next, we had to put "craft/lolipop" sticks into the Peeps.  (Good fine motor skill...ha)

He got it ;)

Then, you stick them in the rice...pretty simple!

He was proud of himself :)

Tadahhh!

Let's hope Gran T will love it...especially since Colton helped!

Orange/White Day

After a yummy breakfast with friends on Saturday morning, we ventured over to the complex for the Orange/White Fanday.  It was super windy, but Colton just loved running all over the practice fields.  He also is really into "Smokey" right now...he got to see the real Smokey pup and the mascot.  We had a fun morning :)

Josiah

Colton's birthday buddy has been over for a couple playdates this week :)  He just became a big brother last week, but his sister Evie will be in the NICU for a while.  I have really enjoyed having a little playmate for Colton, and I know Colton has LOVED it!

Isn't he so cute?!!

They were so funny "bonking" heads with the helmets on!

They had snack time together in Colton's chair :)

Making sure they weren't taking each others snacks ;)

What a life...chilling with a buddy while eating a snack!

These boys have been friends since they were 4 months old (when we met at MOPS & found out they were born on the same day!)  The Ashton family has been such a blessing to our life!

Our Master's Man!

Josh and I LOVE the Master's PGA Tournament!  We even had our first anual "Master's Party" Sunday :) About 2 months ago, Colton started to take an interest in watching golf on tv with Josh.  He cheers whenever the golf ball goes into the cup :)  I took a few fun pics of Colton in his cute Master's shirt.

Hopefully one day, we will be able to take him to The Masters!  Josh was lucky enough to go a couple years ago :)

It is such a blessing that Colton seems to share our love for sports!

ESPN Fan Fare!

One thing we love about living in Knoxville is that we are so close to UT!  The other day, we headed to campus to the ballpark.  ESPN set up a really cool "fan fare!"  Colton loved almost all of it...

We were so excited to see Smokey!  One of Colton's favorite books is "Hello Smokey!" So it was fun to see him again in person!

Colton gave Smokey a big kiss :)

Colton wanted a turn in the pitching cage...we heard "baseball, baseball, baseball..." at least 100 times!

Good throw!  The not so fun part was saying, "okay, you had your turn, put the ball back!"

The UT bounce house/obstacle course was a bit hit!

They a silly UT photo booth!

They wanted to airbrush a Power T on Colton's face...What were Mommy and Daddy thinking...

probably not the best parenting again :)  Maybe next year!

We always enjoy snapping away when the opportunity is there...these days, it seems harder and harder to capture good pics.

I love how his hat is to the side pushing his little ear out...and that sweet face of course!

We had a BLAST!!!
